They argued that complaints from conservatives about bias shown by moderators on ABC, David Muir and Linsey Davis, were just excuses for Trump’s loss. However, conservative observers saw things differently.
One commentator likened the debate to a sports match where the referees were unfairly favoring one team over the other. They emphasized that independent voters, in particular, felt that the moderators were unfairly targeting Trump while providing support to Harris. This blatant bias did not sit well with many viewers, who saw it as a form of cheating orchestrated by ABC and the DNC.
