Stacey Abrams, the perpetual loser, has been handed yet another embarrassing defeat. Her nonprofit organization, Fair Fight, is imploding, and she’s being forced to lay off the majority of her staff. It seems that Abrams’ quest to combat so-called voter suppression isn’t going as planned. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Fair Fight is drowning in debt from lengthy court battles over voting rights. Maybe Abrams should have focused on winning elections instead of wasting her time and money on frivolous lawsuits.
Fair Fight will be slimming down its operations, slashing efforts in voting rights, media, fundraising, and grassroots organizing. They’ll also be cutting back on outside consultants and vendors. This means that 75% of Fair Fight’s staff will be given the boot. Ouch! Looks like Abrams’ vision of creating a Democrat stronghold in Georgia is crumbling before her eyes. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving candidate.

But wait, it gets better. Abrams’ financial mismanagement is to blame for this implosion. Tax filings from 2020 showed that Fair Fight had $21 million in assets, but that number has been steadily decreasing. Where did all that money go? Well, it turns out that most of it went to paying the legal fees of Abrams’ close friend, Allegra Lawrence-Hardy. She represented Fair Fight in a voter suppression claim against the state of Georgia, and surprise, surprise, they lost. So not only did Abrams waste millions of dollars on this lawsuit, but she also handed it over to her friend’s law firm. Talk about corruption at its finest!
It’s no wonder Abrams lost her bid for governor in 2018 and again in 2022. Her shady practices and reckless spending have caught up with her. But don’t feel too bad for her, she still managed to rake in millions for her failed campaigns. It’s clear that Abrams is more interested in her own political ambitions than actually making a difference for the people of Georgia. Thankfully, the voters saw through her lies and chose a competent Republican like Brian Kemp to lead their state.
Despite this humiliating blow, Abrams and her supporters are vowing to carry on. They claim that there is an “incredible need” to fight against those who want to “disenfranchise voters.” Please, spare us the melodrama. Abrams has a history of playing the victim and spreading false narratives about voter suppression. The truth is, she’s just upset that she can’t win fair and square. Abrams and her cronies can try to restructure and rebrand themselves all they want, but the American people aren’t falling for it. We see through her lies and we’re not buying what she’s selling.
In the end, this implosion is a clear sign that Abrams’ time in the political spotlight is coming to an end. Her failed attempts at winning elections and her unethical behavior have caught up with her. It’s time for her to pack up her bags and step aside for real leaders who can actually get things done. Abrams’ reign of incompetence is over, and it’s about time. Good riddance!
