It’s open season on Americans these days—even when they’re in our so-called “friendly” neighbor’s backyard. Early Tuesday, two thugs rolled up to the U.S. consulate in Toronto and opened fire, spraying bullets and running away before anyone could make them pay. Thankfully, no one got hurt. But that’s not the point. The message is loud and clear: lawlessness is in charge, and our country is fair game.
Where’s the outrage? Where are those “world leaders” who claim to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the United States when the chips are down? The silence from Justin Trudeau and his ilk is deafening. Liberals want us to believe that Canada is a haven of reason and peace, but the truth slaps us in the face every time cowardly criminals feel empowered to attack American soil—yes, a consulate is OUR soil, and it deserves to be protected.

Meanwhile, politicians on both sides of the border wring their hands and mutter about how attacks like this are “unacceptable.” That’s rich. It was their own soft-on-crime policies and naïve open-door attitudes that emboldened criminals in the first place. When did lowlifes start thinking they could get away with attacking the United States and walking away as if nothing happened? It’s the rot of progressive weakness, plain and simple.
It’s not just about vandalism or gunfire—it’s about a total loss of respect on the world stage. Those who hate America, whether foreign or domestic, are paying attention. They see limp leadership and think, “Why not?” If this attack had happened the other way around—if an American aimed a foreign embassy—liberals would be up in arms, blaming American culture for every evil under the sun. But when it’s our people under attack? Everyone gets very quiet, very fast.
Every shot fired at our consulate is a warning flare, folks. Weakness invites chaos. Is anyone in Ottawa—or Washington, for that matter—even listening? Or do they just think Americans will accept being targets, both at home and abroad?
