Five years ago, America watched George Floyd die on a Minneapolis street. The liberal mob promised his death would bring real change and healing to our nation. Instead, we got riots, division, and billions of taxpayer dollars thrown at failed programs that helped nobody.
The numbers don’t lie, and they prove what conservatives said all along. A new study shows 72 percent of Americans now admit the racial justice push after Floyd’s death was a total failure. Even Democrats are waking up to the truth that their woke agenda made things worse, not better.
Support for Black Lives Matter has crashed from 67 percent to just 52 percent. Americans watched their cities burn while politicians bent the knee to radical activists. Meanwhile, police shootings have actually gone up every year since 2017, proving that defund the police was always a dangerous lie.
The left promised meaningful reform but delivered only chaos and empty promises. They banned chokeholds and created mental health response teams, but then watched as crime exploded in Democrat-run cities. Working families paid the price while liberal elites felt good about themselves.
What did we get for all this social justice theater. Higher crime rates, more racial division, and communities that are less safe than before. The movement that claimed to care about Black lives actually made Black neighborhoods more dangerous.
Meanwhile, some Republicans are now calling for Derek Chauvin to be pardoned. This shows how far the pendulum has swung back toward common sense and law and order. Americans are tired of being lectured by the same people who failed to deliver results.
The real victims of this disaster are everyday Americans who just want safe streets and strong communities. Instead of healing, the left gave us more anger and resentment. Instead of justice, they gave us policies that protect criminals over victims.
This whole experiment proves that conservative values work and liberal promises fail. Americans are learning that tough on crime policies and strong police departments keep families safe. The George Floyd movement is over, and it’s time to get back to what actually works.
