Hardworking families who lost loved ones or suffered violent crimes at the hands of people who should never have been in our country shared raw, heartbreaking stories demanding action and accountability. The program underscored what too many in power pretend not to see: lax border policies have real victims inside American communities.
Those families — the so-called angel families and ordinary parents and spouses — walked viewers through grief that never goes away and called for common-sense, ironclad immigration enforcement so no other mother must bury a child. Their testimony wasn’t political theater; it was a plea for safety from people who now live every day with the consequences of failed leadership. Conservatives understand that protecting citizens comes before political optics, and these Americans want laws enforced, not lectures from coastal elites.
