The latest episode in the never-ending saga of attempts to silence former President Donald Trump unfolded dramatically when yet another would-be assassin was apprehended near the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. As his getaway attempt unraveled on I-95, you have to imagine Routh was feeling like the unluckiest character in a cartoon where the road keeps disappearing under their feet.
