Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known as AOC, has once again showcased her remarkable talent for turning a simple question into a circus act on Capitol Hill. This time, independent journalist Nick Sortor found himself entangled in a melee when he dared to ask AOC about her silence on the Biden administration’s handling of the migrant crisis. The exchange quickly escalated from a straightforward inquiry to a scene worthy of its own reality show.
In a video that circulated on X, formerly Twitter, Sortor approached Ocasio-Cortez to inquire about the migrant crisis and its tangible effects on the people she represents. Instead of answering, she displayed her signature dismissive attitude as she attempted to dodge the question.
