AOC’s Whiny Tweet on Tlaib’s Censure Slammed with Uncomfortable Facts!

Rep. Rashida Tlaib was censured in a recent House vote regarding a contentious video she shared on Twitter, which contained an allusion to the antisemitic expression "from the river to the sea." A total of 22 Democrats who voted in support of the censure did so across party lines; however, AOC and other members of her squad experienced emotional breakdowns on the House floor.

Following that, AOC resorted to employing the "person of color" card on Twitter in an effort to absolve herself and her colleagues of their improper conduct. Nevertheless, she conveniently overlooks the fact that other members of Congress, including Representatives Steve King and Adam Schiff, have been censured in the past for their inappropriate remarks.

At the behest of AOC, House Democrats abstained from explicitly denouncing Representative Ilhan Omar for her employment of antisemitic tropes. Therefore, the crux of the matter is not the condemnation of Tlaib, but rather the partisanship and selective indignation exhibited by certain Democrats. It is time to abandon the practice of using the person of color card as a justification to avoid accountability for objectionable remarks.
