In a fiery video statement on his last day as an active-duty soldier, a courageous member of the U.S. Army did not hold back as he called out the military leadership and the disastrous policies of the Biden Administration. Not only did he express his disappointment, but he also shed light on the outrageous fact that the Army is sending him a hefty bill for leaving behind crucial equipment during the catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal.

As he prepared to turn in his gear, the veteran shared his frustrations with the Afghanistan withdrawal, describing it as nothing short of chaotic, disgusting, and a tremendous letdown. And now, as he faced the reality of leaving the military, he found himself astounded by the sheer disappointment he felt towards the government.
To his shock and dismay, upon turning in his gear, the soldier was handed a bill for the very equipment he was ordered to leave behind in Afghanistan. Imagine the audacity of the military, asking these brave men and women to abandon their gear for the sake of a hasty retreat, only to charge them for it later on. It’s a slap in the face to our heroes who put their lives on the line for our country.
Soldiers were initially promised that they would not be held accountable for the equipment left behind, but like so many other empty promises, this one has been broken. The U.S. Military left a staggering $7.2 billion worth of vital equipment in Afghanistan, including Humvees, Blackhawk helicopters, and small arms, all of which ended up in the hands of the Taliban. It’s an absolute disgrace.
But it doesn’t end there. The soldier also voiced his utter disgust with the Biden Administration’s twisted priorities. While they continue to pour millions of dollars into the Taliban’s pockets, send billions to Ukraine, and even consider student debt relief, they refuse to cover a measly $500 to $1000 for the soldiers who left their gear behind. It’s a clear example of how out of touch this government is with the needs and rights of the American people, especially those who sacrifice their safety for our freedom.
It’s a sad reality that under this administration, the American people, and even more so, the soldiers, marines, airmen, and navy personnel, are at the very bottom of the priority list. Our government should be ashamed of itself for failing to uphold its responsibility to our brave servicemen and women who have selflessly dedicated their lives to defending this great nation.
Unfortunately, this is just another example of the mess we’re in. The Biden Administration’s incompetence and disregard for the military stem from their misguided policies and lack of leadership. It’s clear that America needs a strong conservative voice to put our country back on track, to prioritize our military and protect the rights and well-being of its citizens.
It’s disheartening to see how much our government has fallen since the days of Ronald Reagan and the strong conservative values that once guided our nation. But if we continue to fight for what’s right and demand better leadership, we can restore America to its former glory. Let’s stand together, championing the true American values that make this country extraordinary, and ensure that our military receives the respect and support they deserve.
