Attorney General William Barr has been speaking out about his former boss, Donald Trump, and the recent indictment filed against Trump by Special Counsel Jack Smith. Barr is pointing out the glaring double standard in the Biden Justice Department’s treatment of Trump compared to Hunter Biden. It’s as clear as day: the Biden administration is reading Trump the riot act, but handling Hunter Biden with kid gloves. It’s like they’ve got a soft spot for him or something.
Barr, who has been critical of Trump ever since he left office, defended the charges against Trump related to the events of January 6th. He called out the critics who claim it’s an abuse of power or weaponization by the DOJ, saying that they’re just exaggerating. He believes there is a legitimate case here, but he questions whether it was wise to bring it in the first place. He suggests that there are other factors at play, such as the potential divisiveness of the case and the lenient treatment of Hunter Biden.

And let’s not forget about Hunter Biden. The Justice Department has been bending over backward to protect him from any criminal investigation, despite the testimonies of two credible whistleblowers from the IRS who have exposed his shady dealings. Hunter and his dad, Joe Biden, were running a sleazy government access scheme, making millions of dollars, some of which may have come from bribes. But the Justice Department doesn’t seem interested in digging too deep into that.
Now, Barr did make one mistake in his assessment. He claimed that if Trump were to win the 2024 election, it would be a “horror show” and “chaos.” But let’s be real here. We’re already living in a horror show with Joe Biden at the helm. Barr said Trump lacks discipline, strategic thinking, and the ability to set priorities. Well, guess what? The same can be said for Biden and his whole administration. Whenever Biden is left to his own devices, it’s a trainwreck.
And let’s not forget about the Biden bribery scandal that the media is desperately trying to sweep under the rug. There is mounting evidence of wrongdoing, and it’s becoming harder for the establishment media to ignore. So, while the issues surrounding Trump in the general election have faded away, the spotlight is now on Biden and his shady dealings.
It’s time for the Biden Justice Department to stop playing favorites and start treating everyone equally under the law. The American people deserve transparency and fairness, not a double standard based on political affiliations. Let’s hope they wake up and start doing their jobs properly.
