Barron Trump, son of the former president, seems to be fitting into the bustling halls of New York University pretty well, at least according to some students who have found themselves intrigued by the young man’s family ties. One young woman even mused about the obvious benefits of befriending someone with the last name Trump. It’s not every day that you encounter someone poised to potentially inherit a hefty business empire while occasionally sharing the same air as Manhattan’s coffee-sipping elite.
However, in a development certain to surprise no one, Barron isn’t rushing into the dating scene. His father, Donald Trump, recently spilled the beans during a podcast appearance where he confirmed that his 6-foot-7 son is embracing the single life with all the enthusiasm of a teenager enjoying a double scoop of ice cream on a hot day. The former president acknowledged that his son isn’t particularly worried about romance, stating that Barron indeed doesn’t mind being alone and prefers spending time with friends rather than jumping into a relationship.

Praise was lavished on Barron as the former Commander-in-Chief described him as “very nice,” “very smart,” and a “good student.” While the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, it appears Barron is maintaining a low profile, which is quite the achievement for someone hailing from the spotlight-shunning Trump family. His father even sparked some chuckles by admitting he wasn’t entirely sure how Barron was faring with the ladies, but maintained his son is well-liked and gets along with people. So, a prominent social figure he may be, but he’s opting for Netflix and chill—or whatever the modern teens do these days—over swiping right.
The desire for privacy might seem odd considering Barron’s well-known lineage, but this young man isn’t just all about the background noise. Earlier this year, he was caught on camera speaking, causing quite the buzz for sounding eerily similar to his pop—the very same man who once coined the phrase “You’re fired!” Barron’s deep and husky voice floored unsuspecting viewers, prompting comparisons not just to his father, but even to Donald Trump Jr. They say the family resemblance runs deep, and in this case, both appearance and audio qualities seem to favor the legacy of the Trump name.
As if that wasn’t enough, podcast host Patrick Bet-David, who has had the pleasure of dining with Barron, had nothing but accolades to share.
