Ah, the Democrats are finally starting to feel the heat from the border crisis! The Biden administration is even resorting to waiving environmental laws to start construction on a new section of the border wall. Isn’t it ironic how they criticized Trump for his wall, but now they’re using the same tactics? Talk about a double standard! Of course, even this tiny step toward border security has the far-left fuming. Beto O’Rourke, the three-time loser, is throwing a tantrum because Biden dares to think about protecting our borders.
I mean, come on, walls have been proven to work throughout history. They may not be the ultimate solution, but they sure make a difference. Just look at the shallow parts of the Rio Grande – that’s where all the illegal crossings happen because there’s no barrier. Walls force those who want to enter illegally to find other, more difficult routes. But O’Rourke and his buddies don’t seem to understand that. They just want to keep the floodgates open and let anyone come in claiming asylum, no questions asked.

Here’s the reality: the asylum system is broken. It’s pathetic how people can just waltz across the border, make up some sob story, and bam, they’re in. But instead of fixing the system and stopping the abuse, the Democrats want to make it even easier for illegal immigrants to claim asylum. Quick processing and work permits for everyone! Can you imagine the chaos that would create? More and more people would rush to the border, hoping for a free pass into the country. But hey, if the Democrats want to fight amongst themselves over this, I’m all for it. Maybe it’ll wake them up to the fact that ideology shouldn’t trump common sense.
