Former President Donald Trump was hit with a case that reeks of bias and political motivation, thanks to the appointment of the judge handling the case. Sheldon Whitehouse, a Democratic Senator from Rhode Island, made comments about the judge, Aileen Cannon, on ‘This Week,’ citing her previous failed intervention in the case and expressing doubts about her impartiality. Whitehouse said, “We will find out whether she goes back to regular normal judging or continues to be a Trump advocate in a robe.”

Most Voters Say Trump Indictment Is Election Interference, Believe He’ll Be Acquitted https://t.co/RBWM1vOWhD

The latest poll shows that many Americans believe that Trump’s case is politically motivated, with 55 percent of the registered voter respondents reportedly believing that “the indictment is politically motivated.” This comes as no surprise since Trump opponents in the liberal media and the Democratic Party are behind the case and are working hard to ensure he doesn’t make a comeback in 2024.
Even Trump’s rival, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, agreed that the case was biased. He tweeted, “The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society. We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation.” DeSantis also stressed the need to “bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias and end weaponization once and for all.”
The latest push against Trump, including the judge involved, is another sign of the bias among the left and mainstream media as the case over the alleged classified documents continues. Many are worried that the timing of the case could interfere with the 2024 GOP primaries or the general election, and it’s clear that those pushing the case won’t stop at anything to foil Trump’s political ambitions. It’s high time that Republicans stand up and combat this injustice with all their might.
