The Biden administration has taken taxpayer dollars to a whole new level of irresponsibility and absurdity with its recent funding of diversity and LGBT initiatives overseas, specifically in the United Kingdom. Reports indicate that American citizens have been footing the bill for a range of woke agendas that would make any sensible conservative cringe at the thought of their hard-earned money being used for such purposes.
The London Daily Telegraph has uncovered that a staggering $25,000 was allocated to a group called “Rainbow Migration,” which proudly claims to assist “LGBTQI+ people” in claiming asylum in the UK. One can only imagine what kind of legal advice is being handed out on American taxpayers’ dime in a country that should be able to manage its own asylum seekers without foreign intervention.
In a striking example of government spending that prioritizes social issues over fiscal responsibility, the U.S. State Department also coughed up $40,000 to the Edinburgh International Book Festival. This sum wet the literary whistle for a series of discussions centered around gender identity, inequality, and, of course, the ubiquitous theme of diversity. Who knew that British book festivals required handouts from Uncle Sam to engage in conversations that align perfectly with the leftist narrative?
That isn’t all; $35,000 was also funneled to an Ohio university during the pandemic. This cash was meant to create exhibitions in the UK spotlighting “LGBTQ+ stories.” While American citizens were grappling with job losses and health crises, their tax money was being used to promote narratives that are far removed from the reality of everyday life. It appears that global pride and identity politics have become priorities for the Biden administration at the expense of domestic concerns.
This is just a ridiculous waste of money. Egregious.

The Biden administration’s financial misadventures extend further into the globalist realm as well, reportedly linking up with the Tony Blair Institute to the tune of $14 million for aid work in Africa and Lebanon. Given Blair’s history of interventionism, one can’t help but wonder if this is yet another tactic to push a leftist agenda under the guise of philanthropy. Critics argue that this aligns with a broader strategy to erode traditional Western values.
As scrutiny builds regarding past foreign aid initiatives under Trump’s administration, there is a glimmer of hope for traditionalists. With President Trump’s recent orders to close USAID and implement a review of all foreign assistance programs, there is optimism that taxpayer money will be redirected away from these misguided international charitable exploits. Politicians like Nigel Farage have pointed out that the Biden administration’s actions reflect an intent to radically transform Western societies and institutions.
With Trump’s potential return, it is anticipated that American taxpayer dollars will no longer be used to undermine British culture and values. As Farage put it, this interference has gone too far, and it’s time to return to basic principles of governance that prioritize the American people over globalist whims. It’s a refreshing thought that maybe, just maybe, crossover funding for woke nonsense might soon be a thing of the past.
