Last week, there was a report from the New York Post saying that President Joe Biden’s top aides were wanting White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to leave her position. On Monday’s “FOX & Friends,” Fox News’ Steve Doocy confirmed that a White House official also said that the report was true. The report also talked about Jean-Pierre having an offer from a pro-abortion group called EMILY’s List.
It Looks Like Biden Aides Really Did Want Karine Jean-Pierre Gone

Fox News White House Reporter Jacqui Heinrich addressed this report, which was a surprise to her as the offer from EMILY’s List was several months ago. Heinrich also mentioned concerns about Jean-Pierre’s performance when she talks about certain topics that are not in her “wheelhouse.” The timing of the report was also surprising as the offer from EMILY’s List was known back in December.
In addition, it was revealed that a “high-ranking person” at the White House said Biden wanted Jean-Pierre to step aside but she refused.
It’s interesting that Biden would want Jean-Pierre to leave, especially since she has said that he and First Lady Jill Biden wanted her for the role because they saw her as very capable. However, Jean-Pierre has faced criticism for her job performance, including violating the Hatch Act last June.
Jean-Pierre is known for speaking about her role in the context of being an immigrant, black person, and LGBTQ individual. Despite the report, the White House has denied these claims, saying that Jean-Pierre was never asked to leave and that she is a hard worker.
There’s a contrast between Jean-Pierre and her colleagues at the White House, especially when it comes to addressing issues like antisemitism. Some argue that Deputy White House Press Secretary Andrew Bates has been more effective in addressing these issues compared to Jean-Pierre.
