According to recent reports, President Joe Biden’s declining approval ratings have international implications, particularly for countries that receive significant financial support from the United States. Ukraine, in particular, has been a major recipient of U.S. aid, totaling approximately $72 billion since February 2022, with an additional $60 billion recently approved by Biden. This substantial financial assistance has caused concern among some observers, as Biden’s falling popularity raises questions about the future of U.S. support for Ukraine.

In response to these uncertainties, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is reportedly seeking a long-term security agreement with the United States to guarantee ongoing military aid and cooperation for the next decade.
