Biden Approval Hits Two-Year Low as Trump Leads on Key Issues

President Biden’s job approval ratings have hit a new low, matching his lowest level in two years, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll. Only 36% of people approve of the job President Biden is doing. This new rating is 2 percentage points lower than the previous month. Biden’s approval rating took a hit in August 2021 and hasn’t bounced back.

The poll also revealed that former President Donald Trump received higher ratings in crucial areas such as the economy, immigration, and foreign conflicts and terrorism. About 40% of respondents favored Trump’s economic policies over Biden’s, with Trump also leading on immigration and foreign conflicts and terrorism. These numbers could be concerning for Biden, especially as the polls show Biden and Trump in a close race for the upcoming election.

It seems that many people are not happy with Biden’s performance as president, as indicated by the low approval ratings and the preference for Trump on important issues. These results suggest that Biden may have a challenging road ahead as he seeks to win over voters and secure his re-election.
