President Joe Biden made a trip to Israel on Wednesday to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During his visit, Biden had a little bit of trouble getting his thoughts together and even lost his train of thought while speaking to reporters. It seems like old age has caught up to him because he couldn’t remember a quote from a speech that was supposedly written for him by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken years ago. The quote was supposed to be relevant to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, but Biden couldn’t quite remember the exact wording.

Well, let’s hope Biden’s forgetfulness doesn’t affect his ability to help Israel deal with the war that’s been going on. Since Hamas launched a deadly attack over a week ago, Israel has been fighting back hard. They’ve been doing everything they can to stop the terrorist group, even if it means leaving the people in Gaza without basic necessities like food, water, and electricity. It’s a tough situation, but Israel is just trying to protect itself and its people.
It’s also worth mentioning that Biden’s visit to Israel shows his determination to stand with them, especially considering the growing anti-Israel sentiments within his own Democratic Party. It’s shocking to see how many Democrats now support Palestinians over Israel. Even after evidence emerged that showed Hamas terrorists beheading babies and killing innocent people near the Israel-Gaza border, some ultra-progressive Democrats like Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) refused to condemn Hamas or hold them accountable for their actions. It’s truly an alarming situation when political bias takes precedence over condemning terrorism.
But let’s not forget, Biden has had his fair share of verbal blunders in the past.
Whether it’s falling asleep during a ceremony or comparing a small kitchen fire to a devastating tragedy, his words don’t always have the impact he intends. And let’s not even get started on his plan to build a railroad line across the Pacific Ocean. It’s just one of those moments where you have to question what exactly is going on inside his head. But hey, at least he’s entertaining, right?
