President Joe Biden is reportedly doing some major backtracking on his “Bidenomics” sales pitch. It seems like the White House finally realized that Americans aren’t buying what they’re selling. But hold the phone, folks! The mainstream media doesn’t seem to have received the memo on this one.

According to an Issues & Insights report, Biden and his crew were all about “Bidenomics” last July, dropping the term a whopping 59 times. Fast forward to last month, and it barely got a mention, tallying in at a meager 10 times. Why the change of heart? Well, it turns out that most polls show people aren’t too keen on “Bidenomics.” They see the economy tanking and prices skyrocketing, and they’re not buying into the hype.
But leave it to the snooty Washington media to think they know better. Take Margaret Sullivan, for example. She’s been around the block for a while and she’s got some thoughts to share. In her recent appearance on CNN’s The Amanpour Hour, she took it upon herself to school the public on why they’re just not getting it. According to Sullivan, it’s the media’s job to make sure the plebeians understand the “consequences of their wrong-headedness.” How thoughtful of her, right?
But don’t go thinking it’s just Sullivan spouting off this nonsense. Brent Baker from the Media Research Center has some strong words for her and her media pals. He’s calling them out for tossing journalistic integrity out the window and basically becoming cheerleaders for Team Biden. And no wonder Americans have lost faith in the media when they’re nothing more than mouthpieces for the Democratic Party.
So, there you have it, folks. The Biden bunch might be dialing back the “Bidenomics” pitch, but the media seems to be doubling down on their role as the administration’s PR team. And that’s why this whole mess earns a solid FOUR out of FIVE SCREAMS. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
