In a move that reeks of desperation, President Joe Biden has shamelessly banned all future offshore oil and gas drilling, clearly attempting to undermine the energy successes achieved by the previous administration led by the one and only President Trump. Biden, using a dusty old law as his excuse, declared on a Monday morning that he will be freezing over 625 million acres of our precious waters from any potential oil and natural gas drilling, with the exception of a portion of the Western Gulf of Mexico. What a slap in the face to American energy independence!
Biden, in his typical fashion, justified this radical decision by claiming it will prevent irreversible damage to the environment and protect the future for our children and grandchildren. Spare us the theatrics, Mr. President! It’s evident that Biden is more concerned with scoring points with the climate change alarmists than he is with ensuring a prosperous future for hard-working Americans. This move is nothing but a nod to the radical environmentalists that helped him get elected.
But fear not, patriots! Our beloved former President Trump swiftly slammed Biden’s ban as utterly ridiculous and made it crystal clear that he would swiftly revoke it if given the opportunity. That’s what I call a leader who puts America first! Trump understands the importance of energy independence, and he won’t stand idly by while Biden tries to cripple our nation’s energy sector with his absurd green energy dreams.

This latest jab by Biden at our energy industry is just another glaring example of his willingness to sacrifice American jobs and economic prosperity on the progressive altar of climate change. It’s high time we put an end to this reckless agenda and restore common sense to our energy policies. Trump’s fiery response to Biden’s ban gives us hope that a return to sensible energy strategies is on the horizon. Let’s make America great again by putting our energy needs first!
