Texas had fortified the banks of the Rio Grande with concertina wire, aiming to fortify our border. However, the Biden administration's indifference towards Texas and our national security is glaring. They sued Texas last year, halting wire cutting, alleging it damages state property and aids border crossings. It's exasperating!
Fortunately, a federal appeals court exercised sound judgment, halting Border Patrol agents from snipping the wire during legal proceedings. But now, the Biden Justice Department is making a play, urging the Supreme Court to overturn that decision. They argue it’s necessary for Border Patrol agents to cut the wire for medical aid to migrants or to apprehend border crossers. But let's face it, folks. The Biden administration's top priority isn't our national security—it's caving to the open borders agenda.
Additionally, they argue that the prior appeals court ruling restricts officer discretion and exposes agents to potentially lethal scenarios. But hold on a minute. We can't allow the Biden administration to use these justifications to dismantle barriers that shield our country. Border Patrol agents bear a tough responsibility, and it's crucial to back them in enforcing immigration laws to uphold citizen safety.
