It’s no surprise that President Joe Biden, the king of catering to foreign countries and illegal migrants, is leaving hardworking Americans in the dust. While he focuses on his radical policies, the rest of us are left to fend for ourselves against the chaos he’s unleashed.
Biden’s open border policies have turned our nation into a playground for deadly Mexican cartels. These criminals are flooding our streets with crime and dangerous drugs like fentanyl, forcing everyday Americans to live in fear. It’s like a scene out of a horror movie, where innocent citizens can’t even step outside without worrying about their safety.
The impact of Biden’s border crisis is felt most heavily in states like New York. Just ask the elderly residents of Island Shores, who were unceremoniously kicked out of their nursing home to make room for illegal migrants. Can you believe it? These hardworking veterans and elderly citizens, who have contributed so much to our society, were given less than two months notice to find a new place to live. It’s disgraceful and downright heartless.
Frank Tammaro, a 95-year-old veteran, spoke out about the ordeal at a recent press conference. He described how the nursing home he called home for years was sold off without warning, leaving him and his fellow residents scrambling to find a new place to live. The decision was made behind closed doors, without any consideration for the lives and well-being of the people who had built a community there.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.) joined Tammaro in condemning the Biden Administration and Democrat leaders for their misplaced priorities. She rightly pointed out that our tax dollars should not be used to house citizens of other countries, especially when it comes at the expense of our senior citizens and veterans. These are the people who have sacrificed and paid their dues, and yet they are being pushed aside to make room for illegal aliens.
But this is just another example of Biden’s complete disregard for the American people. His refusal to secure the border has allowed record-breaking numbers of illegal migrants from all over the world to enter our country. And with the abandonment of policies like Title 42 and the adoption of a catch-and-release tactic, we can only expect the border crisis to worsen. More Americans will be left to suffer the consequences of Biden’s disastrous decisions.
It’s time for a leader who puts American citizens first. Biden may be busy catering to foreign interests and illegal migrants, but the rest of us are left to pick up the pieces. We deserve better, and it’s up to us to demand it.
