House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) appeared on Hannity to discuss the recent developments in Hunter Biden’s case. Comer expressed relief that Hunter Biden’s plea agreement fell apart, as it means his lawyers can no longer “intimidate” witnesses. He alleged that the lawyers had been pressuring witnesses not to cooperate by telling them they would implicate themselves if they spoke out. This behavior is completely unacceptable and clearly shows the Biden family’s disregard for the truth.

In addition to the failed plea agreement, U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika also threatened sanctions against Hunter Biden’s attorneys for misleading the court. This is just another example of the Biden family’s attempt to manipulate the legal process in their favor. Comer believes that this incident should serve as a warning to other potential witnesses, such as Devon Archer, that they cannot trust Hunter Biden’s lawyers.
Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) both praised Judge Noreika’s decision not to approve the plea agreement, stating that it was a victory for the equal application of the law. It is refreshing to see a judge who is willing to hold the powerful accountable, even when they are connected to the President of the United States.
House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) also weighed in on the issue, noting that the consistency of whistleblowers’ testimony further undermines the credibility of U.S. Attorney David Weiss and the Biden family. Smith pointed out that the whistleblowers’ stories have remained consistent, while those of Weiss and the Bidens have changed. This calls into question the integrity of the Biden family and raises serious concerns about their involvement in questionable business dealings.
Overall, it is clear that Hunter Biden’s legal troubles are far from over. The unraveling of his plea agreement and the judge’s sanctions against his attorneys are significant setbacks for the Biden family.
