In yet another blunder by President Biden, he made a gaffe during his trip to Finland. This trip followed a NATO summit in Lithuania and took him to the capital of Finland, Helsinki. During his speech, Biden tried to pay tribute to the Nordic leaders present, but instead ended up confusing the Prime Minister of Denmark with the “daughter of Ireland.” He quickly corrected himself, realizing his mistake, and said “the daughter of Iceland” instead. Oh, Biden, always committing those gaffes!

Twitter users, being the ruthless folks they are, did not hold back in mocking Biden for his slip-up. Bill commented on the priceless look on the face of the Prime Minister of Finland, while Kimberly found the whole thing embarrassing. Patrick even suggested that the daughter of Ireland/Iceland won’t be too happy with Biden’s handlers. Ouch!

But then there was a Twitter user who took things to a whole new level. They questioned Biden’s eligibility to be president, not because of his cognitive decline, but because of his birthplace. Talk about grasping at straws! It’s clear they’re just looking for any excuse to discredit him.
And let’s not forget about the RNC Research Twitter page, always ready to stir the pot. They claimed that Biden left the press conference without answering questions about a supposed cocaine scandal in the White House. Their basis for this claim? Biden looking down at a piece of paper before calling on reporters. Seriously, is that the best they’ve got?
Of course, another Twitter user had to bring up the old “planting questions with reporters” conspiracy theory. They accused Biden of being too senile to remember without a written list. But let’s get real here, folks. While Biden may have cheat sheets to keep track of journalists and their questions, it’s perfectly normal for a president to be briefed on these things. His press secretary defended this practice, stating that it’s all part of the routine. So, sorry conspiracy theorists, but no smoking gun here.
In the end, Biden’s gaffe in Finland may have caused some laughter and Twitter chatter, but it’s hardly a scandal or a reason to question his eligibility as president. Let’s focus on the real issues at hand, shall we?
