Joe Biden has officially taken his leave, exiting the political stage with all the grace of a two-legged giraffe. Inflation? A job crisis? Huge spending bills that leave the American taxpayer gasping for air? Biden’s record is a buffet of abysmally failed policies. Put in layman’s terms, he spent his presidency obliterating any hope for economic recovery, all while cozying up to foreign leaders who couldn’t wait to take advantage of America’s weakened position. This inability to govern effectively may very well lead to chaos stretching from Europe to the Pacific, because what’s better than a President who treats global diplomacy like a game of Jenga?
Yet, rather than wallowing in the politics of his failures, there’s a much deeper problem with Biden. Most politicians have a tough skin, but Biden seems to have a flair for fabricating narratives around personal tragedy. Instead of showing grace and humility over the untimely deaths of his first wife and daughter, he’s instead used their memories as tools in his political arsenal. He has clung to the stories like a life raft, seemingly oblivious to how inappropriate it is to leverage tragic losses to gain sympathy and votes.
And then there’s the family drama. The tangled web of Biden’s personal life, particularly with his son Hunter, deserves a show of its own—one that would likely achieve new levels of absurdity. Hunter’s escapades could fill many a scandalous narrative, but the real intrigue lies in the corruption that seems to flit around the entire Biden dynasty. One has to wonder how a man who’s never truly seen a day of honest labor rakes in millions. Talk about a shady business model, one that reeks more than a three-day-old plate of seafood.
So, while Biden may step down with feelings of bitterness, the lingering damage of his conduct makes it clear that he leaves behind a legacy that no one will celebrate—one that should serve as a cautionary tale against choosing feelings over facts in the political arena. His reign was anything but inspirational and his human qualities, once idolized by some, seem more like a massive red flag in retrospect.
