President Joe Biden, the man in the hot seat, just can’t catch a break. Meanwhile, Trump seems to be flexing his political muscles, solidifying support within his party and leaving Biden in the dust. It’s like watching a heavyweight champ take on a featherweight – and Biden’s the one getting pummeled.
And then there’s the border crisis. Biden made a last-ditch effort to salvage his reputation during a visit to Texas, but all he got was a lukewarm reception from the National Border Patrol Council and a stern warning not to even mention them in his speech. It’s a far cry from the lovefest Trump received from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and the border patrol union. The message is clear: Biden’s border policies are about as popular as a skunk at a garden party.
And let’s not forget about Biden’s track record on other issues. His Middle East policies have left a sour taste in the mouths of progressives, young voters, non-whites, suburbanites, and Arab Americans. It’s a full-blown revolt against Uncle Joe, and he’s running out of tricks to win back their support.
In the end, Biden’s presidency is starting to look like a sinking ship, with no amount of political pandering or grandstanding able to bail out the water fast enough.
