Biden Camp Peddles Doctored Pics to Gaslight Voters On Fitness for Second Term

Allies of the White House are using photoshopping to try to convince voters that President Biden is fit enough for a second term. This is clearly a way to counter the rising number of Americans who think Biden is too old to serve. Allies of the White House have shared these pictures that have been changed without even mentioning that they have been changed. One picture that had been changed even kept its Getty Images watermark, which made it look like it was real.

Democrat influencers have been sharing these edited pictures along with unflattering photos of Trump in an obvious attempt to compare Biden to the former president. Their main point is that Biden is not only qualified to be president, but also healthier than Trump. Malcolm Nance, Jon Cooper, and former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain are all well-known Democrats who have shared these posts. In his departure letter, Klain said he would do whatever it takes to help Biden get re-elected.

On July 8, Democrat adviser Chris D. Jackson tweeted a picture of Biden on vacation in Delaware next to a picture of Trump playing golf. This was one of the most widely shared images. In this photo that has been changed, Biden's face looks brown, smooth, and confident. But it turned out that this picture was completely made up. The original Getty Pictures picture of Biden had been changed to make him look younger. When you look at the original picture and Jackson's edited version, you can see how he changed things, like smoothing out his wrinkles and making his smile bigger.

Most of these edited pictures come from Jackson, but other Biden supporters have also shared them as "proof" that he is fit to be president. Ana Navarro of The View, for example, posted one of these pictures along with an unflattering picture of Trump and wrote in the caption, "These two men are three years apart." Even more people responded to Navarro's post than Jackson's, with 3.6 million views and 57,000 likes.

The fact that Democrats tried to change pictures shows how worried they are about Biden's age. Over two-thirds of American voters think that the 81-year-old President is too old for a second term, and this is true even for a large number of Democratic voters. Biden's team has had to do things like give him note cards for meetings and make the steps to Air Force One shorter so he doesn't make mistakes because of his age. Some friends say they have faith in Biden's ability to be president, but their use of fake images makes it hard to know if they really believe it themselves.
