President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign is quickly turning into a comedy sketch. It’s a well-known fact in politics: if they’re laughing at you, you’re losing. And, oh boy, are they laughing at Biden now — even on CNN, the liberal fortress itself.
The drama started when liberal actor George Clooney told Biden to step out of the re-election race. Yes, George “the Hollywood elite” Clooney, who apparently thinks his political insight is as sharp as his acting chops. Biden’s team tried to clap back, claiming Biden has more stamina than Clooney because he stayed at a fundraiser longer. Seriously, that’s their argument.

Even CNN’s Jake Tapper couldn’t keep a straight face when he heard this ludicrous claim. Tapper, who usually runs interference for the left, now found himself chuckling at the notion that Biden, a man who’s been seen stumbling up Air Force One stairs and losing his way on stage, has more energy than a Hollywood star. The laughter echoed from his panelists as they struggled to absorb the absurdity.
Tausche from CNN relayed that Biden’s packed travel schedule is supposed to prove he’s still got it. But let’s be real — having an agenda full of naps in different time zones doesn’t exactly scream vigor. The campaign’s attempt to paint Biden as more spry than a 63-year-old actor is almost as believable as Kamala Harris’s Joker-like cackle being music to anyone’s ears.
It’s rich that this debacle unfolded on CNN, a network known for its anti-Trump bias. If even CNN is laughing at Biden, it’s a clear sign the ship is sinking. Their laughter isn’t just audible, it’s a siren call marking Biden’s missteps.
The fact that Clooney and his Hollywood aristocrats helped pile $30 million into Biden’s campaign pot just months ago, only to call for his withdrawal now, is another layer of irony that doesn’t get lost on anyone outside the liberal echo chamber. They’re like a real-life soap opera, contradictory and entertainingly unpredictable, but at this rate, the Democrats might just be writing the script for their own downfall.
