Biden Cheers Mexico’s Takedown of Brutal Fentanyl Kingpin!

President Biden showed his appreciation to President Lopez Obrador of Mexico for the capture of one of the most brutal criminals, an alleged fentanyl trafficker known as “El Nini.” The Mexican military successfully captured Nestor Isidro Perez Salas, also known as “El Nini,” who is the chief of security for the “Chapitos” division of the infamous Sinaloa Cartel, responsible for the massive influx of fentanyl into the US.

Biden expressed his gratitude for the Mexican Army and special forces for effectively capturing El Nini and acknowledged the brave men and women of Mexican security forces involved in the successful operation. He pointed out that both the United States and Mexico are safer now with El Nini behind bars and facing justice for his crimes.

Nestor Isidro Perez Salas faces charges of cocaine and methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, witness retaliation, fentanyl importation conspiracy, money laundering conspiracy, and other offenses. The State Department had offered a $3 million reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.

The indictment against Perez Salas detailed terrifying allegations against the cartel security team run by him, known as the “Ninis,” such as capturing, torturing, and killing Mexican federal law enforcement officers. The Ninis are accused of heinous acts, including pouring hot chiles into wounds, feeding people to tigers, and testing fentanyl on kidnapped rivals and addicts.

Attorney General Merrick Garland expressed gratitude to Mexican Attorney General Alejandro Gertz Manero for Perez Salas’ arrest and stated that the United States is seeking El Nini’s swift extradition from Mexico to face justice.
