Trusting President Joe Biden to get it right is like taking investment advice from your uncle, who still thinks Beanie Babies are going to skyrocket back to glory. When it comes to his administration and its economic record, the strategy seems to be a classic abdication of responsibility, and it might just be time to take Kamala Harris’s apparent ambitions into account.
Recently, during a press encounter, Biden was quizzed by Fox News’ Peter Doocy regarding Harris’s supposed plans to strategically distance herself from what the world collectively recognized as a calamitous economic agenda—lovingly dubbed Bidenomics. Without missing a beat, Biden emphatically dismissed the idea, stating that Harris would not abandon ship. And while the idea of Biden pulling off a Truman-esque stunt at the convention may seem like a long shot, it reflects the chaotic reality that this administration has cultivated.
