President Joe Biden has once again shown his true colors when it comes to caring about the American people. In a recent press conference, he callously dismissed the concerns of the residents of East Palestine, Ohio who suffered from a devastating train derailment. Despite promising to visit the small community, Biden claimed that he has been too busy jet-setting around the world to make the trip. Of course, he conveniently failed to mention that he has spent nearly 40 percent of his presidency on vacation, according to one estimate.

Yet, he has somehow managed to squeeze in a whopping 75 vacation days since the incident.

Not only has Biden neglected the American people, but he has also shown a shocking lack of empathy and understanding in the face of tragedy. While on vacation in Lake Tahoe, he took a detour to Maui, where a devastating fire had claimed the lives of over 100 residents. Instead of offering words of comfort and support, cameras caught him appearing to fall asleep at a ceremony honoring the dead. And let’s not forget his attempt to downplay the severity of the situation by comparing it to a small kitchen fire that nearly took his wife’s life. It’s clear that Biden is more interested in his own leisure than in the welfare of the American people.
When it comes to natural disasters and other weather-related events, Biden has consistently shown a lack of engagement and concern. He offers glib no-comments to the press and rarely visits the affected areas. Just weeks after the East Palestine tragedy, another community in Pennsylvania experienced a similar train derailment, and once again, Biden was nowhere to be found. It’s clear that he is too busy hobnobbing with international leaders and neglecting the needs of his own citizens.
Fortunately, the residents of East Palestine have seen through Biden’s empty promises and lack of action. Their mayor, Trent Conaway, recently endorsed President Trump at a GOP dinner, thanking him for the help he provided to their community. It’s clear that under Trump’s leadership, the American people received the support they needed in times of crisis. Without Trump and his dedicated team, the situation in East Palestine could have been even worse.
It’s time for the American people to wake up and see Biden for who he truly is – a president who cares more about his own agenda and personal comfort than about the welfare of the citizens he is supposed to serve. We deserve a leader who will prioritize the needs of Americans and put their well-being above all else.
