Biden Dodges Blame for Inflation Mess, Targets Firms Instead

President Biden and his administration have once again pointed fingers at everything and everyone but themselves for the ongoing supply chain and inflation issues. In a recent meeting of the supply chain resilience council, Biden warned companies against “price gouging” and claimed that his administration was working tirelessly to lower costs for American families. However, his actions and policies have only contributed to the escalating inflation and supply chain problems plaguing the nation.

Rather than taking responsibility for his own actions, Biden continues to deflect blame onto external factors such as supply chains and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Notably, he conveniently fails to acknowledge the impact of his $1.9 trillion COVID relief package, which many Republican lawmakers argue has been a major driver of inflation. It’s classic Biden – always ready to point the finger of blame at someone else.

During the council meeting, Biden announced 30 so-called “actions” aimed at addressing the supply chain and inflation issues. He rambled on about tackling “junk fees” and hidden charges, conveniently ignoring the fact that his administration’s reckless spending has contributed to the economic woes faced by American families. It’s like a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar, pointing at the dog and claiming innocence.

What’s more, Biden took the opportunity to criticize GOP policies, claiming that Republican lawmakers would leave supply chains vulnerable. This is a clear attempt to deflect attention from his own failings. The president also accused companies of “price gouging” to boost their profits, completely ignoring the detrimental impact of his administration’s policies on American businesses.

Among the 30 “actions,” Biden plans to use the Defense Production Act to invest in domestic manufacturing of medicines, as if this will magically solve the ongoing supply chain issues. It’s merely another attempt to distract from the real problem – his own failed policies. While his administration touts these initiatives, the reality is that they do little to address the root causes of the supply chain crisis and inflation.

The supply chain group, co-chaired by individuals within Biden’s inner circle, may appear to be a step in the right direction, but it’s just another political stunt aimed at shifting blame. In typical fashion, Biden has surrounded himself with loyal allies and cronies who are more concerned with political posturing than enacting real change for the American people.

As Biden’s approval ratings continue to plummet, it’s clear that his attempts to deflect blame and point fingers are no longer fooling the American people. They see through his facade and recognize that his administration’s policies have only exacerbated the issues at hand. Until Biden takes real accountability for his actions and enacts meaningful change, the supply chain and inflation crisis will continue to weigh heavily on American families.
