Biden Escapes to California Amid Growing Concerns About His Health and Leadership

Joe Biden has seemingly taken a page from the diary of a hermit since his dramatic performance at the Democratic National Convention last week. After launching into an aggressive attack on former President Donald Trump, he promptly exited stage left, opting for yet another extended vacation instead of fulfilling his presidential duties. It seems the only thing Biden can manage nowadays is a week-long retreat in sunny California, with additional leisure days back in Delaware. With nothing on his schedule aside from the obligatory daily briefing, the question remains—who, precisely, is in charge of the country?

Emerging evidence suggests that Biden’s time away from the public eye has sparked legitimate concerns about his health. According to a report, as he stepped off Air Force One in California, he appeared visibly shaken. Upward of 24 hours without rest might leave anyone fatigued, but straining to mount the stairs and requiring assistance to enter his waiting SUV amidst the scrutiny of the press raises alarms about his fitness to lead. Observers have begun to connect his erratic demeanor to a past “medical event” in Las Vegas, which the White House has been curiously vague about.

It’s almost comical how Democrats have maneuvered Biden into this vulnerable position, relegating him to a backseat role in his own campaign. After being thrust onto the DNC stage at an ungodly hour, it’s no wonder he didn’t fare too well. The snubbing continued within party lines, specifically with Michelle Obama seemingly taking a jab at the current administration. While Barack showered Biden with compliments, Michelle did the exact opposite in her speech, completely omitting any reference to Biden. Insiders have suggested that she’s still seething over the Bidens’ handling of her friend, Hunter’s ex-wife, which adds an intriguing layer of drama to this political spectacle.

The Obamas’ fractured relationship with the Bidens is apparently not the only discord within the party. It appears that Biden’s relations with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are also teetering on the edge, as he confirmed that he hasn’t spoken to her recently—an admission that implies nothing is mending in that department. This internal strife could be seen as a smokescreen for the Democratic leadership, attempting to distract from the growing concerns over Biden’s competence, or lack thereof.

As the days of Biden’s conspicuous absence pile up, one cannot help but wonder if the Democratic strategists are hoping to sideline him until the general election.

Biden’s political future seems to be hanging in the balance, with the party scrambling to find a viable solution to their leadership vacuum. Will they attempt to keep him under wraps until the 2024 election in hopes that he’ll reemerge as a robust candidate? Or will the mounting concerns around his capabilities force the party to rethink their strategy? Whatever the plan may be, one thing is clear: hiding from scrutiny in a time of national crisis is not the hallmark of a strong leader.
