The Biden administration is at it again, folks! After months of playing nice with China, they are finally taking some action to address the tech war between the two countries. You see, China has a habit of stealing technology to fuel its own growth, and it’s about time someone put a stop to it. The Biden administration is now targeting China’s access to cloud computing systems in the US, which is a smart move considering how much China loves to hack into everything.

Under this new rule, Chinese customers will need to get permission from the US government before they can access cloud-computing services that use advanced artificial-intelligence chips. This will prevent China from using these chips to further their own technological advancements. Finally, someone is standing up to the Chinese and saying enough is enough!
But let’s not forget that while the Biden administration is trying to take action against China, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is heading over there to try and smooth things over. Like, seriously? We’re going to send Yellen to negotiate with a country that steals our technology and threatens our national security? That’s like sending a sheep to negotiate with a wolf. It’s clear that the Biden administration is more interested in appeasing China than protecting American interests.
And let’s not forget about Antony Blinken’s disastrous visit to China. Not only was he delayed in going there because of a spy balloon incident (yes, you read that right), but he was also treated like a second-class citizen by the Chinese government. It’s humiliating to see our officials being disrespected like that, and it’s clear that China has no intention of reconciling with us.
It’s time for the Biden administration to wake up and see China for what it really is: a hostile power that will stop at nothing to surpass us technologically and militarily. We need strong leadership and decisive action to protect our national security. This cloud computing ban is a good first step, but we need to do more to hold China accountable for their actions. It’s time to put America first, not China.
