In a spectacle that could only be described as a mix of comedy and confusion, President Joe Biden signed yet another executive order, this time targeting artificial intelligence (AI). Now, one might wonder what an old-timer like Biden knows about the intricacies of AI, and it turns out the answer is, well, not much.

During his speech, the President admitted to being tricked by an AI-generated voice impersonating him and even questioned, “When the h*ll did I say that?” Oh, Biden, always good for a laugh! It’s truly comforting to know that our Commander-in-Chief can be outsmarted by a machine.
But don’t worry, folks, Biden assured us that he’s on top of things. He emphasized the need to govern AI and protect our national security because, of course, in the wrong hands, AI can be used by hackers to exploit vulnerabilities in our software. It’s as if he just discovered the internet and forgot that we’ve been dealing with cyber threats for decades. Way to stay up to date, Joe!
In true Biden fashion, the President stumbled and fumbled on his words throughout the speech. It’s no surprise that he struggled with some big words. Let’s face it, articulation has never been his strong suit. But hey, at least Vice President Kamala Harris, the ‘AI Czar,’ was there to pick up the slack. And by ‘pick up the slack,’ we mean embarrass him more by praising his non-existent leadership.
The reactions to this AI-themed extravaganza were priceless. People couldn’t help but chuckle at Biden’s confusion and showed their amusement through a range of facial expressions. Can we blame them? It’s not every day you witness a President who is clueless about the very topic he’s signing an executive order on.
So, while Biden may have put pen to paper and acted like he knows what he’s doing, the reality is clear – this executive order is just another empty gesture. The President’s lack of knowledge and inability to articulate his thoughts only highlights the fact that he’s not the one calling the shots in his own administration. It’s a concerning reminder that we have a leader who is easily deceived and easily manipulated. God help us all.
