In a shocking turn of events, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have decided not to visit the fire-ravaged island of Maui, despite the ongoing devastation and the countless lives at stake. It seems they don’t want to “distract” from the relief efforts, but let’s be honest, nobody wants to see them anyway. The corrupt Biden Administration has shown time and time again that they only care about themselves and their own agenda, not the American people.
Harris had the audacity to say that they are coordinating federal resources to help with recovery, as if that makes up for their refusal to show up and provide real support. It’s no surprise that they would prioritize a corrupt country like Ukraine over American citizens who are in desperate need of assistance. Biden has been accused of abandoning his domestic responsibilities multiple times, and this is just another example of his disregard for hard-working Americans.
But don’t worry, Biden finally issued a federal disaster declaration for the island, because apparently that’s the least he could do. It’s too little, too late. The people of Maui deserve better leadership than this. Democratic Gov. Josh Green has warned that the death toll will continue to rise as the wildfires cause power and communication outages, making rescue and relief efforts even more challenging. It’s a dire situation and it’s clear that Biden and Harris are completely out of touch with the needs of the American people.
