President Joe Biden’s approval rating continues to plummet as he struggles to win over the American people. A recent poll conducted by FiveThirtyEight reveals that only 37.7 percent of Americans approve of the president’s performance, while a whopping 55.6 percent disapprove. With a dismal -18 percentage points, Biden’s approval rating is the lowest in modern history, marking a sharp decline from his predecessors.

Comparing Biden’s numbers to past presidents, it’s clear that he’s at the bottom of the approval rating barrel. Notably, former President Donald Trump had a 41.7 percent approval rating, while even controversial figures like Richard Nixon and Lyndon Johnson fared better than Biden when it came to public sentiment. It’s an embarrassing position for the current commander-in-chief to find himself in, and it certainly raises concerns about his ability to lead the country effectively.
Despite the mounting criticism, Biden remains defiant, insisting that he is determined to defeat former President Trump in the upcoming election. He candidly shared with donors that if Trump wasn’t in the running, he might not even be seeking re-election.
