In January, about 125,000 folks tried to sneak into the US of A, which is a sharp drop from the whopping 250,000 arrests in December 2023. Yikes! It’s like a game of hide and seek gone wrong, and the Biden team is definitely losing! The data also shows that most of these “naughty” immigrants were adults traveling solo, over 40,000 were part of a family, and around 7,000 were unaccompanied kiddos. It’s like a family trip gone wild, and the Border Patrol is left trying to clean up the mess.

According to Fox News, over 1 million folks have been caught trying to sneak in since October 2023. That’s a lot of folks trying to crash the party.
And guess what? The southern border hotspots for all this trouble are Tucson, Arizona, and San Diego. Border Patrol in Tucson rounded up about 50,000 folks in January, averaging around 1,610 arrests per day. It’s like a never-ending game of whack-a-mole, and Border Patrol agents are working overtime to keep our borders safe.
It’s clear that the Biden administration is struggling big-time to keep a lid on this hot mess, and with Republicans failing to oust Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas and a bipartisan immigration deal getting the boot, it’s a full-blown political showdown.
