Last week, the White House got into another tussle with those pesky Fox News reporters, and this time it was Karine Jean-Pierre who found herself in the hot seat. This Fox reporter, Peter Doocy, known for poking at the administration, had the nerve to ask Jean-Pierre about Joe Biden’s border policies and how they compare to Donald Trump’s. Of course, Doocy was referencing some report from Axios, trying to stir the pot with talk about legal frameworks and Trump’s “Muslim ban.”
The nerve of that Doocy guy! He asked Jean-Pierre why Biden would even think about using a border policy similar to Trump’s. Jean-Pierre seemed a bit flustered and tried to dodge the question, asking Doocy which policy he was even talking about. Classic move, right? Instead of giving a straight answer, she started blaming the Republicans, saying they were getting in the way. Typical!

But get this – Axios reported that Biden is considering taking a page out of Trump’s playbook when it comes to the southern border. Yep, you heard that right. The report said that Biden is thinking about using executive action to restrict asylum claims and turn away migrants at the border if they cross illegally. And where did he get the legal authority for this? From Trump’s Muslim ban, that’s where! The nerve!
It’s no secret that the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border has been out of control, with record-breaking numbers of migrant encounters. And now, Biden is thinking about pulling a page from Trump’s playbook to deal with the mess. Can you believe it? It’s like déjà vu all over again!
