Biden on Thin Ice: Potential New Challenger Emerges This Friday!

Get ready, folks, because U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) is apparently throwing his hat in the ring for the 2024 presidential election. According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Phillips is gearing up to officially announce his long-rumored bid as early as Friday. Can you believe it?

Now, this Minnesota Democrat has been making some noise lately by urging Democrat governors to join him in challenging President Biden. He’s even mentioned names like Gretchen Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, and Tim Walz as potential candidates. But let’s be real here, folks. Do we really need another Democrat in the mix to confuse things even more? I think not!

Phillips is trying to argue that left-wing voters are looking for an alternative to Biden in 2024. He’s pointing to some polls that supposedly show interest in a primary challenger to the president. But come on, do we really trust these polls? We all know they can be manipulated to fit any narrative you want.

One of Phillips’ main concerns about Biden is his age. Now, I’m not one to talk about age, but let’s face it, Biden isn’t getting any younger. Phillips has been praising Biden as a “wonderful man” and all that, but he’s also calling on him to “pass the torch” for the good of the party. Well, let me tell you, Dean, I think Biden is doing just fine. We don’t need some young upstart coming in and shaking things up.

In a recent appearance on a podcast, Phillips admitted that there are probably “better options” than himself. Well, at least he’s honest about that. But despite his lack of national name recognition and campaign organization, he still feels compelled to run. I guess he just can’t resist the allure of the White House.

To add fuel to the fire, a “Dean Phillips For President” van was spotted parked outside a government building in New Hampshire, not far from where he needs to register for the primary ballot. And get this, volunteers for his campaign were seen handing out flyers for a rally. The audacity!

But let’s be real here, folks. Phillips is currently serving his third term in the U.S. House, and his challenge to Biden has already drawn him a primary challenger of his own. The Democrat Party opposition is only going to grow as his campaign progresses. So, Dean, good luck trying to topple the king. You’re going to need it.
