Joe Biden’s love for vacations is no secret, and it seems like he spent more time away from the White House than actually working in 2023. According to a report from the New York Post, Biden was away at his getaway spots for a whopping 37% of the year.

Whether it was one of his Delaware residences, a fancy vacation spot, or the famed Camp David, Biden was enjoying his time off while the American people were left wondering who was running the country. The report revealed that he spent a total of 138 days at these leisurely locations.
Biden managed to squeeze in 22 official vacation days as well, which were spent either in Delaware or at glamorous destinations like St. Croix, Lake Tahoe, or Nantucket. And let’s not forget the 26 days he spent at Camp David, not including the two days he needed to prepare for some important summit.
It’s no surprise that Biden’s absences from the White House have been a topic of discussion lately. Last year, he racked up 150 days at home in Delaware, breaking records for his lackadaisical approach to the job.
To put things into perspective, former President Donald Trump spent 132 days away from the White House at his own properties. Yes, he had a life outside of work too, but at least he managed to balance it with running the country. Meanwhile, Obama only took 38 vacation days during his entire presidency, and George W. Bush spent a mere 100 days at his Texas ranch throughout his tenure.
While it’s important to rest and recharge, especially for someone like Biden who seems to struggle with basic cognitive functions, it’s also crucial to be present and actively working for the American people. Unfortunately, it seems like Biden’s definition of “working” involves spending more time lounging poolside than actually making important decisions.
After all, Biden is currently on vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands, enjoying some well-deserved time away from the chaos he has helped create.
