President Joe Biden has once again thrown a fit on Twitter, lashing out at Republicans for daring to demand border security measures be included in new funding for Ukraine. Biden accused Republicans of “blackmail” as a whopping 12,000 illegal immigrants flood into the United States each day, shattering records left and right. The nerve of those Republicans, trying to secure our borders and protect our country!
The GOP is rightly pushing for strong border policies to be part of the deal, but the Biden Administration is refusing to budge. Instead, Biden seems more concerned with hurling accusations of political blackmail, all the while downplaying the very real national security threat posed by the massive influx of illegal immigrants. It’s as if he’s living in a fantasy world, where open borders and unchecked migration don’t lead to chaos and danger for the American people.
Republicans in Congress are threatening to cut off support for Ukraine unless they can force through their extreme partisan border policies.
It’s political blackmail, pure and simple.
The stakes are too high and the consequences are too significant for political brinksmanship.

Even Republican Senators are stepping up to call out the administration’s negligence when it comes to securing our southern border. Senator Mike Lee didn’t hold back, pointing out the ludicrous notion that Biden won’t do anything to address the crisis at our border unless a hefty sum is sent to Ukraine. And Senator Lindsey Graham chimed in, demanding that Biden wake up and address the broken border before it’s too late. But it seems like Biden is more interested in playing politics than actually addressing the very real threat posed by unsecured borders.
Despite all the alarm bells ringing from Republicans and common-sense Americans alike, Biden remains obstinate in rejecting Republican proposals for stronger border security. The situation is dire, with illegal immigrant encounters reaching unprecedented levels, yet Biden continues to turn a blind eye. It’s high time the Biden Administration comes to grips with reality and prioritizes the safety and security of our nation over playing political games.
