Biden Snubs Press, Laughs Off Key Question on Pardons & National Concerns

Once again, President Biden showed his true colors towards the press, showing little regard for them. Fox News’s Peter Doocy got a taste of that when he asked the president about Governor DeSantis’s comments regarding a potential pardon for Trump if DeSantis became president. But instead of providing an answer, Biden merely laughed and gestured before heading off. It’s clear that he doesn’t consider this a great question since he refused to answer it. It only goes to show how uninterested Biden is in discussing the issues that really matter to the American people, especially if they do not align with his liberal agenda.

DeSantis’s comments on the matter came during his appearance on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” last week. The show’s hosts raised the issue of whether Biden would pardon Trump if he’s charged with federal offenses and if DeSantis, as the potential Republican nominee, would look into these cases on the Jan. 6 defendants. While DeSantis did not specify whom he would pardon, he was clear that he would “have folks that will get together and look at all these cases of people who are victims of weaponization and we will be aggressive.” DeSantis further reiterated how the DOJ and FBI have been weaponized, which sadly we see time and again, especially against “pro-life demonstrators” and parents at school board meetings.

But we can’t expect Biden to care about weaponization, uneven justice, or the plight of American citizens, can we? He only cares about playing golf on long weekends and vacations while the country suffers from his lack of action. Even The New York Times reminded readers how inaccessible he’s been during his term. It’s no surprise that he brushed off Doocy’s question, as he has no interest in answering difficult queries, let alone looking into the cases of those who have faced trouble due to the weaponization of government agencies under his administration.

Perhaps Biden is also scared of the possibility of facing DeSantis next year, as evident from his recent Twitter account’s reactions. The President wasn’t shy about expressing his worry over DeSantis officially declaring himself a candidate. While Biden has indicated that he welcomes a rematch with Trump, polls show that both DeSantis and Trump have an edge over the President in the general election. Perhaps Biden would rather avoid these pressing issues of the American people and focus on more pressing issues, such as his golf game.
