President Biden is at it again! While the southern border is facing an unprecedented surge in illegal crossings, he’s off on vacation in St. Croix, declaring January as Human Trafficking Prevention Month. The nerve of this guy!

Former acting director of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Tom Homan, didn’t hold back his outrage, calling it “disgusting” that Biden is declaring human trafficking awareness month while essentially turning a blind eye to the human traffickers he’s unwittingly enriched. With record numbers of people being smuggled across the border, Homan made it clear that the blame rests squarely on Biden’s shoulders for failing to secure the border.
And as if that wasn’t bad enough, former acting commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection, Mark Morgan, weighed in, slamming Biden’s open border policies for fueling a “persistent tidal wave of illegal immigration” and turning the United States into a willing participant in the largest human smuggling and trafficking operation in modern history.
While Biden is sipping cocktails in St. Croix, reports have revealed that a staggering 276,000 people were detained for illegally crossing the southern border in just the first 27 days of December, surpassing the previous record set in September.
And as if to add insult to injury, Biden has the audacity to talk about addressing the root causes of human trafficking and bringing traffickers to justice. But with his administration’s failure to enforce border security, it’s hard to take his words seriously.
And let’s not forget about the unaccompanied children who have been smuggled across the border, only to end up working in meatpacking plants or forced into labor. This is the sad reality under Biden’s watch. These children should be in school, not exploited for cheap labor.
