President Biden has once again shown his lack of judgment when it comes to keeping America safe. During a recent campaign fundraiser in California, Biden carelessly revealed sensitive intelligence about a Chinese spy balloon incident. According to a report from the New York Times, Biden disclosed that the Chinese President was unaware of the details related to the unmanned Chinese spy balloon that was shot down in South Carolina after traveling over several military bases. He then went on to reveal additional intelligence, detailing the nation’s assessment of and strategy relating to China.
Many defense officials were left astonished by Biden’s reckless behavior, especially those who witnessed the Chinese spy balloon incident. They were surprised that the president decided to reveal such sensitive information about national security to 130+ donors guests. This act has caused a lot of concern amongst officials from the intelligence agencies.
Biden talked about the incident without any prior planning, revealing that the balloon is suspected to have been monitoring military bases in Hawaii and Alaska but was blown off course. Biden further added that China is experiencing some real economic difficulties; however, he urged donors not to worry at all. Such remarks from the president are not only irresponsible but also showcase the lack of respect he has for the country’s intelligence agencies.
Biden’s recent actions seem to demonstrate his disregard for America’s safety and security. His recent disclosures revealed during the fundraising event prove that he is not fit to lead the country. This latest revelation came a day after Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken’s visit to China, where he announced that America does not support Taiwan’s independence, marking a shocking reversal of U.S. policy. However, such a statement only hurts America’s relationship with Taiwan and sends the wrong message to China.

In conclusion, it is disheartening to see President Biden’s utter carelessness when it comes to matters of national security. His behavior only serves as an embarrassment to America, and his recent actions should not be taken lightly. America needs a commander in chief who will put the country’s safety and well-being ahead of winning applause from donors.
