Biden Stumbles as Trump Leads in Polls: Dems in Disarray!

As the 2024 presidential election looms closer, President Joe Biden’s troubles are piling up faster than kids stacking Legos. The guy’s not exactly where he wants to be, and he sure ain’t where he needs to be, especially with a potential rematch against renowned businessman and former President Donald Trump. Even some of his own Democrat pals are starting to throw some shade his way. The Democratic voters and Biden 2020 supporters are muttering their concerns, and influential Democratic voices are chiming in with their critiques.

Last week, everyone was buzzing about some new polls that came out showing Biden lagging behind Trump. These polls, from The New York Times/Siena College, got even David Axelrod, who was the head honcho strategist for President Barack Obama, all worked up. And when a big dog like Axelrod starts barking, you know it’s more than just a squirrel in the yard. He was even firing off tweets about how Biden ought to think long and hard about his next move. That’s like your grandma telling you to finish your vegetables before you can have dessert—nobody wants to hear it, but it might be for your own good.

Plus, there were some other not-so-great polls from CBS News/YouGov and ABC News/Ipsos that had everyone chatting, especially on those Sunday shows. When Axelrod went on CNN’s “State of the Union” alongside former Governor Larry Hogan, they both took turns giving Biden a verbal spanking. Hogan straight-up said Biden ain’t the strongest horse in the Democrat stable, and it’d be better for everyone if he kindly stepped aside. And then Axelrod started backpedaling, saying he meant Biden should just “think about it” like pondering which toppings to pile on his pizza.

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room—Biden’s age. We all know he’s not exactly a spring chicken, and sometimes, that shows. Just the other day, during a Veterans Day event, Biden got all turned around about where to go. It was like watching a GPS with a dead battery—completely clueless. Hedge Fund Manager Bill Ackman even posted a plea on the internet, begging Biden’s closest pals to have a little chat with him about not running again. His message was basically “Hey, Joe, it’s been real, but it’s time to ride off into the sunset.”

Then Nate Silver, the dude who’s all about crunching numbers, started getting attention for saying Biden might not be the best bet for winning that big ol’ White House race. He ruffled some feathers and sent Twitter into a tizzy with his take. It was like watching kids fight over who gets the last slice of cake at a birthday party.

When it comes down to it, Biden’s got some problems. His poll numbers are about as low as a snake’s belly, and his age is starting to show more than a wrinkled dollar bill. If he wants to keep playing this political game, he better buckle up, ’cause it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
