Joe Biden has officially stepped off the political stage and into the limelight of Hollywood, signing a deal with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to represent him in his post-presidential pursuits. This strange twist sends one’s mind racing—who knew the former commander-in-chief would swap Oval Office briefings for audition rooms? The move seems almost scripted, but it raises questions about just how far this administration is willing to stretch the bounds of absurdity.
When CAA co-chair Richard Lovett announced that Biden is one of America’s “most respected and influential voices,” one cannot help but chuckle. It’s as if Lovett has been living under a rock for the past few years. The Biden administration has ushered in one blunder after another, from disastrous foreign policies to catastrophic inflation rates. If this is how Hollywood defines “respect and influence,” one has to wonder what a lack of those qualities looks like in Tinseltown.

There’s an undeniable irony in a Hollywood agency signing a politician best known for gaffes and ghostwritten memoirs. After all, Biden’s pre-presidency days were less about glitzy Hollywood star power and more about political survival. His last-hurrah book tour was about as exciting as a bowl of plain oatmeal. Yet, now he’s paired with a talent agency that has historically backed Democrats, as if his political credentials can magically transform into cinematic gold.
Speculation is swirling about potential film or television roles Biden might take on. Will he bring his groundbreaking commentary on national unity to the silver screen? Or perhaps he’ll lend his star power to a classic remake? The mind boggles—could there be a “Weekend at Biden’s” where he co-stars with animated political figures? Or even better, a role in “Tales from the Crypt,” which seems fitting given his penchant for forgetting what year it is.
Of course, Biden’s foray into acting would require a hefty dose of creativity. Let’s face it, when one has spent decades in the political swamp, conjuring up believable scenarios outside of it is no small feat. Who needs method acting when years of spinning tales has honed one’s storytelling skills? One can only imagine the directors wrangling with Biden to stay on script – a challenge akin to herding cats.
In the end, Biden’s departure from political life might be cause for celebration, if only to spare America from more cringe-worthy headlines. After all, as he trades politics for Hollywood, conservatives can take solace in one undeniable fact: Joe Biden is no longer running the country. Whether he ends up playing a role that fits his antics or simply serves as a cautionary tale in the annals of Hollywood, at least viewers won’t have to pay for the ticket to his presidency anymore.
