Hold onto your hats, folks, Joe Biden is at it again, throwing shade on a conservative stalwart. This time, his target is none other than J.D. Vance, Donald Trump’s pick for vice president in the 2024 race. Biden couldn’t help but hop onto X (formerly known as Twitter) to take a swing at Vance, painting him as some kind of bogeyman who’s out to empty the pockets of middle-class Americans while lining the coffers of the rich. Talk about projection from the party of big government and high taxes!
Trump’s announcement of J.D. Vance on Truth Social was unsurprisingly met with the usual hysteria from the left. Biden’s 2024 campaign scrambled to slap together a statement, condemning Vance as one of Washington’s most far-right extremists. How original! This “extremist” just so happens to be a U.S. Senator who has been standing up for Ohioans while critiquing the out-of-touch policies and rhetoric coming from the Biden-Harris administration.
Here’s the deal about J.D. Vance. He talks a big game about working people. But now, he and Trump want to raise taxes on middle-class families while pushing more tax cuts for the rich.
Well, I don’t intend to let them. And if you’re with me, pitch in: https://t.co/ALkc9uHFh9

Jennifer O’Malley Dillon, the Biden campaign chair, was quick to parrot the party line, claiming that Vance would gladly support Trump’s so-called “extreme MAGA agenda” at any cost. The left loves to demonize anyone who dares to challenge their narrative as a threat to democracy itself. Truth be told, they can’t handle the fact that Vance represents a direct refutation of their overreaching, big-government solutions.
The Biden camp also tried to scare voters with the tired trope of contrasting visions—Trump and Vance supposedly representing doom, gloom, and benefits for the ultra-rich, while Biden and Harris portray themselves as the saviors of the middle class. Let’s not forget it’s the Biden administration that’s repeatedly failed to lower costs or curb inflation, all while pursuing policies that leave Americans footing the bill.
And just for a laugh, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had the audacity to claim that they wouldn’t “politicize this moment” when asked about Vance’s nomination. This from the party that turns everything, from school board meetings to energy policy, into a political battleground.
J.D. Vance, of course, didn’t miss his chance to call out Biden’s hypocrisy. He noted that the Biden campaign’s characterization of Trump as an “authoritarian fascist” is the same kind of rhetoric that leads to violence, such as the attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Such incendiary language has become a hallmark of the left, proving they’ll stop at nothing to silence opposition.
In the end, Biden’s attack on Vance is just more of the same tired rhetoric meant to distract from his administration’s failings. The real story here is that Trump’s choice—an articulate, staunch conservative with a heart for American values—has struck a nerve, making the left all the more desperate as the 2024 election looms.
