Biden Tied Attorneys Shield Hunter: Tax Fraud Case Undone by Political Donors?

Two U.S. Attorneys have been found to have close ties to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, revealing yet another startling example of the two-tiered justice system. The Daily Caller has revealed that former U.S. Attorneys for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, and the Central District of California, E. Martin Estrada, contributed generously to Biden and Harris. These obvious conflicts of interest raise significant concerns about political favoritism and the prosecution process's integrity.

The controversy began when Delaware's U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who had strong evidence that Hunter Biden committed tax fraud, requested that Graves and Estrada file charges against the president's son in their respective districts. Both attorneys shockingly declined to do so, leaving critics incensed and challenging their motivations.

The donation records disclose the true nature of these prosecutors' relationship with the Biden administration. Graves, a Biden nominee, contributed $1,500 to Biden's presidential campaign during the 2020 Democratic primary, whereas Estrada contributed $500 to then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris' Senate campaign in 2015. Evidently, these prosecutors have close ties to the very individuals whose relatives they were tasked with holding accountable.

Even more disturbing is the realization that Graves and Estrada's inaction directly benefited Hunter Biden. Gary Shapley, an IRS whistleblower, asserts that charges for Biden's alleged tax evasion in 2014 and 2015 must have been lodged in Washington, D.C. before the statute of limitations expired. However, Graves prevented U.S. Attorney Weiss from prosecuting the case in his district, ensuring that the president's son would never face charges in D.C. Additionally, Estrada denied Weiss the chance to present his case in California, thereby shielding Hunter Biden from scrutiny.

In addition to shielding Hunter Biden from potential justice, these actions concealed the gravity of his criminal behavior. The years in question involved foreign income from Burisma, a notorious Ukrainian energy company, and a scheme involving a partnership with a convicted felon to evade income taxes. Additionally, possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) existed. By excluding these crucial years on purpose, both Graves and Estrada engaged in a blatant cover-up and prevented the full extent of Hunter Biden's malfeasance from being revealed.

In addition, it is important to note Estrada's association with left-leaning organizations such as the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and the Alliance for Children's Rights throughout his career. These affiliations raise concerns regarding the prosecutor's impartiality and lack of bias.

Unbelievably, both U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and the White House have disputed any attempts to obstruct the Hunter Biden investigation. However, the New York Times independently substantiated Weiss's claims, refuting Garland's assertions. This calls the current administration's transparency and integrity into question.

Hunter Biden avoided jail time by accepting a plea bargain that was offered to him alone. This treatment, which no other defendant facing similar charges in Delaware has ever received, once again highlights the severe reality of a justice system that appears to operate under a distinct set of rules for those with influential connections.

The American people are entitled to a system of justice that is impartial and free from political interference. To restore faith in our legal institutions, these instances of political favoritism must be exhaustively investigated, not swept under the rug.
