Biden Trips Over PACT Act Name During Speech in New Hampshire

President Joe Biden made news again, and not for his dazzling oratory skills this time. During a speech in New Hampshire discussing the PACT Act, which helps veterans exposed to toxic chemicals, Biden struggled with the name of the legislation like a cat trying to catch a laser pointer. He referred to it as the “pacandlpacatlackack.” Come on, Joe, you can do it!

Despite the tongue twister, Biden boasted about the success of the PACT Act, which provides health care and benefits to veterans affected by burn pits and toxic chemicals. He even signed the act into law on August 10, 2022, but we wonder if he mispronounced it then too. Maybe he should start using cue cards with big, bold letters.

In a touching moment, Biden spoke about his son Beau, who sadly passed away from brain cancer in 2015, blaming burn pits for his illness. He emotionally shared that the PACT Act is personal to him and his family, as Beau was one of the veterans exposed to toxic fumes. It’s heartbreaking to hear about his son’s struggles, but maybe it’s time to keep the personal anecdotes to a minimum and focus on running the country.

The Department of Veterans Affairs celebrated granting its one millionth PACT Act claim, providing much-needed benefits to veterans and their families. That’s definitely a significant milestone, but we can’t help but wonder if Biden will remember its name by the time they hit two million claims. Let’s start a countdown!

To add to the mix, a Harvard-Harris poll revealed that a majority of voters feel Biden’s presidential performance is slipping like a wet bar of soap. From concerns about his age to questions about his mental and physical fitness, it seems like Biden is juggling more than just legislation these days. Maybe it’s time for some memory exercises and a new set of dentures to keep up with the demands of the presidency. Stay tuned for the next blip on the Biden radar!
